Terms of Service

Welcome to NOTBOARD. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NOTBOARD app and website (the "Service"), operated by Pineapple Ventures LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use NOTBOARD.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use NOTBOARD, because meetups may take place at venues that serve alcohol. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and can form a binding contract.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account secure. Keep your login details private, and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time (see Support).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other users;
• post false, illegal, hateful, or infringing content;
• use the Service for spam, scams, or unlawful activity;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Meetups and in-person events

NOTBOARD helps people organize and join in-person games, but we do not host, supervise, or control these meetups, the venues, or the people who attend. You attend at your own risk. Use good judgment, meet in public places, and follow venue rules and local laws. NOTBOARD is not responsible for the conduct of any user or the outcome of any meetup.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant NOTBOARD a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display that content as needed to operate the Service. You're responsible for the content you share.

6. Intellectual property

The NOTBOARD name, logo, and app are owned by Pineapple Ventures LLC and protected by law. You may not use them without permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that games, venues, or other users are accurately represented, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOTBOARD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for events that occur at or arise from in-person meetups.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or for legitimate operational reasons.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and revise the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
